we had a great stay at holiday inn express. laura at the front desk was amazing, super friendly, and made us feel welcome right away. the breakfast was delicious, especially the perfectly cooked bacon and oatmeal. the heated pool was a nice touch to unwind after a day of snow fun. plus, it's just a short walk to the polar express!

Upon arrival, the check-in process was a hassle when they could not find my reservation due to someone else being checked into my room. The hot tub, which was a selling point for my stay, was out of order, leaving the lukewarm pool as the only relaxation option, which fell short of expectations. Additionally, I found some cleaning issues in the room, such as bits of trash and remnants of previous guests, which made me question the thoroughness of housekeeping.

Overall, the hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive. However, breakfast left much to be desired with a limited selection, and the noise from adjacent rooms was disruptive. A better ice supply would enhance future visits.
